In Geovonic Connect, data sources provide connectivity to third-party business systems. The Civica Authority Reflect data source allows you to fetch information from Authority Reflect.
Civica Authority Reflect is an inspection and maintenance management solution, with a large install base across the state and local government sector.
Data Source Configuration
The Authority Reflect data source configuration requires a few fields to provide the server location and user credentials.
- API Server URL – The URL to your instance of Authority Reflect.
- Client Key – The client key to be used for authentication.
- Username – The username to be used for authentication.
- Password – The user’s password.
It is important when configuring any integration service to follow the Principle of Least Privilege. Any credentials used for the data source should only be able to access the minimum amount of information to meet the needs of your Geovonic Connect application. For example, do not provide the admin credentials for Authority Reflect if Geovonic Connect only needs to access a single form. Best practice is to create a new user with the least required privileges.
Layer Link Configuration
The Authority Reflect layer link configuration allows you to define search queries to find the records to be returned. Up to three search clauses can be added together and form an and statement.
- Search Query
- Field – Data field in Reflect to search on.
- Operator – The matching operator (e.g. equal or starts with).
- Value – The search term to use – can be a combination of feature attributes or constants.
